“No Kings” rallies are kicking off Saturday in all 50 states and in countries around the world. More than 3,100 events are planned.
The flagship event is in Minneapolis, where Bruce Springsteen, Sen. Bernie Sanders, Jane Fonda and Joan Baez are all scheduled to appear. In Boston, organizers expect roughly 100,000 people.
Major rallies are also planned in New York, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco, San Diego and Philadelphia. But the protests aren’t limited to big cities — events are also scheduled in places like Quakertown, Pa., Ridgefield, Conn., Parsonsfield, Maine, Rutherford, N.J. and Secaucus, N.J., according to the NoKings.org events page.
Solidarity events are also scheduled in Europe, Canada, Mexico and Australia.
