Several Buckeye Career Center natural resources students earned a second-place team finish at the recent Ohio FFA Wildlife competition at Hocking College.
The students competed against 44 other schools and were tested on their knowledge of animal identification, map reading, nuisance species control, and aging of animals.

Team members included Daleney Baker of Newcomerstown, Cass Wright of Indian Valley, Anna Swonger of New Philadelphia, Malachi Martin of Buckeye Career Center, Lilly Milburn of Indian Valley, Laya Shook of Tusky Valley, Lauren Maloon of Alternative Education Academy, Lizzy Smith of Dover, and Callen Karrenbauer of Tusky Valley.
